This week we were busy as always completing our SWOT analysis of our venture. We got together as a group as we didn't want to leave it for one person as we believe its important to get this stuff done as a group. Through our analysis we seem to have a lot of strengths and minimal weaknesses; whether we are just being biased (which I'm sure we are), the outlook at the moment looks good. In principle we at least believe in our product and feel the potential of our innovation is high.
As well, I also made my venture pitch video which was quite fun as I tried to make it as creative as possible (although Microsoft Movie Maker sucks). I'm hoping to come out as one of the top 5 videos, but know the others in my class will have some strong videos as well. We are going to get together Tuesday to view all the videos as a team and pick our top 5. This week we also have an advisory board meeting that we need to handle in the midst of all our other assignments. Planning for that should take place during the same time on Tuesday to prepare ourselves for that.

ReplyDeleteIt's great that everyone in the group gets together to work on assignments - that is ideal. But it sounds like you feel pretty swamped lately, and I can't help but to suggest that you divide some of the work amongst the team. That way you guys can work on your parts at your own convenience, and hopefully feel less overwhelmed... Just a thought.
