Prototype 3.0 is the most basic version of our venture, it uses the decrease in the vehicles momentum to push the pendulum switch into the wired wall to complete the circuit to turn on the brake light. This small scale prototype demonstrates how it would work on a larger scale. We hope to replace the pendulum momentum switch with one that would be more accurate on inclining and declining landscapes, also more durable for long term use.
This is a great start to your prototype! I like that you've been able to make this into a smaller scale model that you can work with and show people how your idea is coming together. If you do progress this prototype a little further yet, it would be cool to see a video of this in action. If that's possible...I don't know
ReplyDeleteAre you developing another prototype that shows the development of the pendulum momentum? Where in the vehicle are you placing the technology? Have you considered doing a prototype of the taillight alone?
