Most of these features are becoming standard on new vehicles, this just proves that over time safety features that were offered as an option eventually become standard if they are proven to work well. We're hoping DBS will reduce a total rear end collisions all over the country eventually making it a standard item in all new vehicles.

Car Safety Tech at the New York International Auto Show: It’s the Little Things
This article points out how important vehicle safety is to the auto industry. All new safety feature are to help keep the driver concentrated and protect the driver if something goes wrong. When phones became widely used on the roads to ensure drivers keep their hands on the wheel they incorporated Bluetooth into the vehicles audio with voice commands to dial and text. Upgraded safety features like: Onstar for ford, SOS for BMW, and other immediate response features ensure that if something does go wrong help will come.
