Last month Hong Kong announced that all motorcycles in the police force and other gov't departments would be replaced by the Brammo electric motorcycle. Currently the used petrol engines, so the switch to electric is big. Brammo is hoping to get other governments on board to follow suit with more electric vehicles. The model they are using is a modified Enertia which includes gadgets specific for the police.
As a motorcyclist myself I find this news intriguing. I obviously don't have an electric motorcycle, but I am excited to see what happens with them. I don't totally understand the technology in them opposed to cars, but never the less, I want to see one in action.
